“The closing meeting of the “Financial Literacy for Migrant Women (FLY)” project, which was launched in 2022 under the coordination of Prios Vest AS (Norway) under the Erasmus+ program and in cooperation with Manisa Celal Bayar University, was held on 7 February 2024. The project aimed to increase the financial literacy level of immigrant women.
The project, which also has partners from Greece, Romania and Spain, provided training opportunities to women with low literacy levels, especially in financial management. At the Closing Meeting, project coordinator Prof Dr. Hatice Yurtsever, T.C. Ministry of Family and Social Services Manisa Deputy Director Selcan Etyemez Uslu, and expert in the field of migration and women’s studies Assoc. Dr. Duygu Alptekin contributed with their speeches. At the closing meeting, information about the project was given and the problems of immigrant women were mentioned.
