The first international meeting of the project named “FLY_Financial Literacy for Immigrants Women” with the number 2022-1-NO01-KA220- ADU-000088438, which was prepared within the framework of the call of the Erasmus+ Program Norwegian National Agency, where Prios Vest As is the coordinator of the association and our University is a partner, 12 February 2022 held in Molde, Norway with the participation of the coordinating institution and representatives of all partners.
The project, which started on 01.09.2022, aims to create a training program that will enable women with immigration and refugee background to learn about financial literacy problems, apply the acquired knowledge as a skill, and transform knowledge and skills into behaviors and attitudes. Prios Vest AS (Norway) is the coordinator, MPIRMPAKOS D & SIA OE (Greece), INDEPCIE SCA (Spain), ASOCIATIA EDULIFELONG (Romania) and Manisa Celal Bayar University (Turkey) are partners in the project. The first online meeting was held on 29.08.2022 and the second on 19.10.2022.
At the meeting, first of all, all partners introduced themselves and their institutions and gave information about their goals and project experiences. Afterwards, the duties and responsibilities of all partners were emphasized and decisions were made on the management plan, evaluations, communication, correspondence, and file archiving throughout the project period. At the meeting, a desk research report showing the situation of all partner countries was presented by MCBU, and the problems faced by migrant women in countries were brought to light.
It has been decided that the next face-to-face transnational meeting of the project will be held in September 2023 in Greece.
